  • Graffiti of a simple face with 'WHAT NOW' written in black spray paint on a white wall. Sunlight glare and paint drips are visible on the left.

    Adults

In these politically turbulent times, it's no surprise that many adults are experiencing heightened levels of stress, anxiety, and grief. If you find yourself struggling with these big feelings, therapy offers the space to develop effective coping strategies, process your emotions, and find resilience in the face of uncertainty.

  • Display of model airplane, cruise ships, and globe in shop window, therapy for expats and multicultural people

    Expats/Multi-Cultural/3rdCulture identities

If you're an expat or someone with multiple cultural identities who is struggling with feelings of displacement, discrimination or confusion about who you are and your sense of belonging, I specialise in offering therapy that can bring these pieces of your unique cultural background together and root in a more grounded and empowered lived experience.

    Moms/Women

I believe that it is not our birthright to suffer as women, but rather to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. Our struggles are real - they are historic, they are institutional, and they are personal. I work with moms and women who want to explore their unmet needs of being all things to all people. Addressing big feelings, confidence, shame and trauma, unidentified anger and mood swings, grief, changing bodies and identities and how they show up in their world in relationship to others.

  • A collection of colorful stickers on a dark background, featuring various designs such as teeth, a heart, a cat, cartoon characters, and a scenic drive sign. Some stickers have text like "BITE ME" and "toof tac."

    Teens (16+) and Parenting support

There’s so much pressure on young people today! And a lot of ANXIETY and PANIC as a result! As if it weren’t tricky enough to navigate changing bodies, hormonal shake-ups, GCSE’s, or A-Levels-exam - just one exam after another exam! Plus changing social groups, developing identities and navigating social media 24/7 to keep up.

    It’s all a bit much…

My therapeutic approach

There are many therapists and different approaches, which can make finding the right one difficult. It's a unique relationship based on trust, providing a safe and supportive space for a strong partnership. Here’s what you can expect when we work together:

  1. Personalised, collaborative approach: I take the time to understand and befriend your pain, your inner critic and struggles. I witness, I challenge, I participate, holding curiosity and deep empathy.

  2. Holistic perspective: I recognise that mental health is not restricted to a label or a childhood and the systems we come from and move through in education, medicine, work and culture shape us.

  3. Social justice focus: I am committed to anti-oppression and redressing inequality. I recognise the impact of power structures on us and our mental health and strive to create a safe and inclusive space for clients from diverse backgrounds.

  4. Evidence-based techniques: I am trauma-informed and work at your pace to develop practical strategies for managing stress, improving relationships, and fostering self-compassion.
