PSychotherapeutic counselling for ADULTS in troubled times

How are you, really? Are you done searching for silver linings and talking around real problems? In these troubled and uncertain times, your stress, your anxiety, your big questions and problems experienced now and from your past are all welcome. Your initiative to seek professional support reflects your awareness and your care.

I work with clients to come into contact with themselves - with their bodies, emotions, and thoughts. To be heard and to process what’s going on ‘out there’ or ‘back then’ and come into the here and now

I don’t trade in wellness or happiness which is to say that I’m not asking for you to be more or work harder or do better. This is part of what makes us feel ‘shame’ that no matter how much we try to change, improve and upgrade, it’s never enough

Instead, the invitation of therapy is to offer you space for reflection to safely process your experiences and your relationships which can lead to a deeper engagement in life and can yield growth and transformation.

  • befriend and parse out our feelings and anxieties

  • reflect on our lived experience: the workplaces, home life, family structures and how you relate to the world and others

  • explore unmet desires, fears and sorrows

  • offer clarity and context

  • make meaning of your life

  • stabilise
